The stabilizer and elevator are built and sanded to shape. They weigh 2.9 ounces and are more than half the 36" wingspan of the Tyro. I used to think I had a big building board.

poppy....One thing I like about balsa is that it sands fast. When this is finished, stand off scale will be more like scale!

poppy... Rounding the spine. I roughed this out on a belt sander...now attach it, hand sand and fill.
