I filled with finger and spearder...tehn waited about 15 minutes. I made a well in the filler, added a bit of water to make a slurry. Then painted the slurry on.

I was trying to land on the runway but was a little off to one side and clipped this little bank with the prop, breaking the motor shaft. I turned the Tyro around for this picture, but that's about where it came to rest.

This morning I got to the field at 0630 so it was still cool but the rising sun forced me to practice my landings headed from West to East. As you can see, my aim is better with the desensitised controls.
