The vacu cover on the lower nose is provided in the kit. The exhaust stack opening was cut into the balsa. The cooling gills are card stock.

The wing fillet is heavy bond paper traced from the pattern on the plans; it fit perfectly. The wing root 20mm cannon access panels are made from card stock amd kit supplied vacu parts, and while not perfect they are adequate.

The outboard MG cover is Jelutong wood. This cover was removed from some F-series aircraft.

I've painted the armored headrest and the cockpit interiorwith Tamiya XF-22 RLM Grey the standard Luftwaffe interior color and added a head cusion and red warning sign.

The fuselage is completed. The side keels have a lot of spring and if cemented as is, they would throught the fuselage out of alignment. So I crack them at an appropriated spot and reglue them when I cement the keel sides to the fuselage. I do that that to stringers, too or sometimes I soak them in water.
