This is the first time I have used coverlite rather than tissue. Any tips would be great.

I don't have it in me to tinker with this thing anymore. I am going to put this one aside for awhile and start pecking away at a different project.

The plane did not come through flight testing okay. We had some decent flight, then one not so decent...

This was a quick build, but will be a while before I can finish her. I will be busy the next few days but will get back to the build when I can. As you can see there are no modifications, pretty much built per the plans. I still have to do some final sanding and adding wood to the stab area. Comet is famous for making one wonder...where do I attach the tissue and motor peg:confused: Comet does not use vacuum formed parts, but they do a great job of providing parts and directions for the little details. I kept this build simple since I will only fly her a couple of times. For a more durable build, I would recommend replacing the paper parts with wood, sheeting the nose area, and strengthening the wing. The next step will be to cover with domestic tissue and paint the camo. Then off to the flying field. Once again, for how much these kits cost back in the 80s, not a bad deal.
