| The gunsight is wood with the addition of clear plastic sight. Just these few rudimentry pieces of a cockpit add a lot to the model. |

| I used a decal in the scrap box (I believe from the Guillows P-51D kit) and glued to a piece of 10 thous plastic. The interior is painted Tamiya cockpit grreen. |

| It kills me that I painted the tail yellow. I have no idea what I was thinking. I just went ahead and did it and I'm too chicken to remask and repaint the whole thing. Oh well. |

| It weighs nearly a metric short ton now with all the dope, paint, decals, filler, etc on it but I am thinking about putting some hot-rod rubber motor in and flying it one more time just so I can say that it is a flying model. I know I am courting disaster but what the heck... |
