| I originally wanted to make a few small mods and make this into a post war Air National Guard F-51K. The K had an uncuffed prop and extended fin. The markings on these ANG Mustangs were sparse. What you see here (red stripes on the stars and bars), serial number on the tail and PA ANG flanking the national insignia on the fuse (if the plane was from PA of course). |

| This guy is sprayed with design master's silver over esaki and 2 coats of 50/50 dope. The wheels are off of a Parkzone UM P-51 (RIP). |

| 290 plank pieces later. My plans are now to remove sections for a recessed front landing gear bay and recess and modify the exhaust ports. Operational doors were a consideration but I'd probably end up trashing the canopy, so panel lines will suffice. God I love this kit. |
