This photo shows the latch in the closed position. It can be rotated to allow the the wheel to lower and then rotated back to keep the wheel lowered.

For some reason the comment don't always post completely. The paint is Tamiya withe the yellow brown and light blue being mixed. I've still got to finish the marking on the tail, but so far I think its coming along. I should be finished in the next day or
