Heavy grade silkspan was attached wet with clear nitrate dope and then entire structure, including the plastic parts, was given two coats of clear dope, That was sanded lightly and now two coats of acrylic have been applied. Several more coats will go on before I start with the actual colors I'll use.

The first color coats show where work is needed, such as on the end of the stabilizer. The canopy has been painted with a clear mask. And...thanks for the nice words!!

There is a lot to be said for purchaseing a kit with cut parts 46 plus balsa sheets were made, after 46 plus templates of cardboard, to get the fuse sheeted.
