Free! Since I don't use the 1/16" strip wood, it's starting to take over. The extra canopies and decals are free, too. If you can use these, let me know.

Getting started. I always make copies of the plans in order to cut them apart in order to work on smaller pieces or in the case of plans printed on both sides the extra printe plan allows me to refer to information or drawings on the other side.

One really can't have too much reference. Besides books I use the photos of models printed off of the internet.

I decided to build the 500 series Bf 109 because it is almost exactly 1/24th scale and after building the 500 series Fw 190 I found the 500 series to e an exceptional value that, with a little bit o extra work, builds into a really good looking model that compares favourably with models twice or three times the price.

LW...The ailerons fit so exact when I cut them from the wing. They rest in the "wings" as the epoxy sets!

Some touch up here and there needed. When I coat with clear matte all will blend nicely.

The plan is to seal, fill, and prime the wings, then attache them. I can spray the whole bird. Apple red gloss.
