| John M Oshust | Dumas Kit #1805, Waco ARE | Build | 21-Sep-09 20:06 | | | Views : 1051 | | The four main struts are in the hands of the molecules. Tomorrow is another day. One pair of main struts are still required anterior to the lower wing cut out. I should be able to remove the foam block tomorrow and install them. A pair of bracing struts are still required as are bracing wires. |

| John M Oshust | Dumas Kit #1805, Waco ARE | Build | 20-Sep-09 14:11 | | | Views : 938 | | The dowels have been amputated to give the required width. You can see the Al tubing, a large ferrule, which holds the assembly together. My goal is to fabricate the float mounts as two halfs that slip together and mount onto the fuse. This will make my transport easier. |
| John M Oshust | Dumas Kit #1805, Waco ARE | Build | 20-Sep-09 14:07 | | | Views : 950 | | A great deal of thought will be required before the float stuts are manufactured and installed. Proper positioning is critical. |
| John M Oshust | Dumas Kit #1805, Waco ARE | Build | 20-Sep-09 14:06 | | | Views : 1006 | | When the Float struts are made the fuse must be a tad higher and the final prop a tad smaller than the scrap prop. |

| John M Oshust | Dumas Kit #1805, Waco ARE | Build | 20-Sep-09 12:38 | | | Views : 940 | | When the epoxy on the dowels sets, the dowels can be cut to give the required spacing with the fuse. Tubing ferrules will allow me to adjust the width to the rquired fit. |
