| I remembered that polyspan will shink even afeter it is painted. A few minutes with the heat gun and the fuse and wings are tight again. Shrinking after paint makes the paint a tad glossier. Of course you must heat slowly so as not to damage the paint. Off to the cabin tomorrow!! |

| Remember Schnazola the crop duster? It was in the shop for a pre transport dusting and inspection. It has been about 6 months since its completion. I noticed that the balsa must have dried and the entire plane has shunk a bit. The music wire rigging was bowed and the polyspan had sagged. I cut small sections from the wires and installed Al tubing ferrules, crimped on one end. The rigging is straight again and the ferrule should allow for linear change with temp. |

| The wings fasten into the fuselage with a plastic bolt. The timber down the centre is a jig that holds the formers in place when the stringers are attached. |

| Wings glued with a strip of fibreglass to strengthen down centre.Two wires in centre control the wing surfaces. These will be attached to a servo which will be cut and glued into the fron of the wing. |
