A thin coat of Liquitex gray as a primer adds 0.1oz. I think from here I'll jump right into the final colors rather than add another coat of primer.

The kit includes good quality wood, several plastic pieces, Sullivan cable, aluminum tubing, music wire, styrene rod, 3 sheets of plans, and an instruction booklet. Not pictured is the tissue, peel and stick decals, tail feather patterns, and a bag of miscellaneous hardware such as wheels and string. The bottle of Ambroid Pro-Weld is from the LHS, I got their last bottle. The directions talk about using a CAB cement, but assumes I know what that is. Are we talking about traditional Ambroid liquid cement, Testors wood cement, Sig-Ment, or something else?
