This picture clearly illustrates the type of highly polished finish I had in mind. This photo also shows to good effect how the fuselage is left in its all-polished metal but the wings were puttied and painted silver. A fact not many people are aware.

Before any reasonably series build is to take place, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do some research, even if the subject matter is the famous (& common) P-51 Mustang. My goal is to finish the model in highly polished natrual metal & done up as Big Beautiful Doll.

Close up of hinge attachment points to underside dive brakes. There are lots more pictures including cockpit interiors if anyone's interested. Only wish I knew how to change the title from Fairey Fulmar to Dave Diels's F-100.

This isn't a Fairey Fulmar, but tried to set up the F-100 without success. Just wanted to say that DD was right. The ontrols droop withoutt power. This was taken while visiting in Engliand

Add the finished cartridge to the top of the gun, and with the wooden side grips, we've got one cool machine gun sitting on the top wing for all to see.
