The friction between the wings and the fuse and the weight of the fuse and wings are holding them in alignment while the epoxy sets. Another gravity jig so to speak.

The kit is 1/8 scale, this bird, 1/12. Hoping both plans were a bit off scale I took a chance with the Top Flight kit. After a tad of cutting and pasteing parts together, the plan seems to work.
