| I think the P-40 shows its Art-Deco era roots from this angle. The late 30's and 40's were certainly the classic age of American industrial design. |

| Bottom view. The kit makes no provision for the fairing that covers the landing gear mechanism. I made them out of laminated 1/32 balsa wrapped around a dowel wrapped in wax paper I used as a mandrel. The wheels are tissue. |

| My P40 is now stationed in the skies above my room. All the rest are Dad's plastic kits. I did make the 1/72 262 that's about to have a crack at the "Memphis Belle". |
