| The joint smoothed out quite easily. After 3 coats of Thinned dope and a 32 sanding it's time to cover.Got boath top sides done, doped and sanded. Botoms next. |

| Infilling done. 3 hours of sanding on fuse this afternoon. Once the sanding and sanding and - is done the wings can be attached and blended to the fuse. Then silkspan. |

| I like the design of the wing construction. The ribs are split in the middle alowing for a half to be constructed flat on the plan. Then you simply glue the other half of the ribs in place. No shimming or guessing. Given that, I am trying something different for the infill: one 3/32 strip between each seyt of ribs. On this one the bottom is done. As the camber increases it takes shimming which you can see, but it giges just the right surface. I used the 3/32 so there was enough to sand some off. We shall see. |
