Always start with a new blade for masking work. Cut the tape where you marked it and peel the excess away.

Use a pencil to outline the area to remain masked. A pencil will seek its lowest point by itself so the outline will be what the mold is. Do this gently, sketching lightly instead of forcefully.

Being a short "how to" mask. Put masking tape in place. Use an object similar to the rounded end of a paint brush and press it around the insides of the frame. This forces the tape to form a better bond. Do not over do this. You want the tape to stay intact.
