| David Duckett | 24-Sep-06 09:53 | | I always cover with a silkspan which is quite a bit heavier than that in the kit. I believe there are several "grades", thicknesses, and I like the heavier stuff cause it's much stronger and easier to handle plus it doesn't require as many coats of dope to seal. I usually give the covered frames two coats of clear dope with a light sanding between and then they start getting shiny and that means they are ready to paint. |
