| John M Oshust | 27-Mar-15 17:09 | | The air scoop for the RAF engine was finalized this day. The third attempt was the charm and the material of choice....Al roof flashing!!! When completed the scoop will be similar to a cap in that it can be removed with ease to show the engine. My research shows that though the “stock RAF aero-plane came equipped with a factory air scoop, the the scoop was either modified or removed in the field. |
