Here she is ready for flight, all balanced out at 60 grams without landing gear. I used the paper decals from the kit and the horrible kit canopy pattern, should have used another kit canopy.

This old tissue was shrunk once before applying to remove the crease from the tissue being folded all those years. Even with that the tissue still shrinks alot as you can see from the bowing of the leading edge where there are no ribs.

Working on a vintage Comet Super Stars P51 built out of the box for rubber powered, I am even using old Testors glue. The only modification I made was for removable landing gear. Will start covering with kit tissue and decals.
