Top view. Knowing where the rocks are makes it easier to walk on water. This plastic piece is left over from #2 (which means I screwed it up and had to order the whole sheet!!)

With the tail cone glued on I'll add the rest of the wood and start on the bottom.

I traced the outline of the tail cone onto 1/16" balsa, sanded it to fit, and glued it inside to allow it to be glued to the back former.

The red pieces were added between the formers BEFORE the side keel was glued on in the first part of construction. It worked, the whole thing is straight.
